Join us for free a Massage Career Preview and Intro class to
gain real-world knowledge and talk to industry professionals.
Both of these classes offer potential students the opportunity to
see what an education at East West College would be like and
to have any questions they may have answered. Both events
will be informative and fun plus light refreshments and snacks
will be provided!
Massage Career Preview: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
Before you start your career in massage therapy, you probably
have a few questions. What kinds of jobs are available? What
do LMTs do in a typical day? What does a massage therapist
need to learn? What are the laws that apply to LMTs? The
Massage Career Preview is an amazing opportunity to not only
find the answers to your questions but to interact with
professionals. Here you’ll learn more about the massage
profession and hear personal experiences from a Licensed
Massage Therapist. An Admissions Representative will be on
hand to answer questions about the East West College
curriculum and schedules and to give a tour of our school.
Pre-registration is required.
Massage Intro Class: 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm
There’s no better way to get a feel for what it’s like to be
massage therapist than to roll up your sleeves and start
working with your hands. In this class, you will have the
opportunity to learn how to set up your table, properly drape
your client, and perform some basic massage strokes. This is
a great way to get hands-on experience (literally) and to begin
to immerse yourself in the technique and culture of massage.
We will work in pairs, so you can either team up with another
student or sign up with a friend. Please wear loose,
comfortable clothing. The class will be taught by one of EWC’s
program instructors. Pre-registration is required.
